A shape-shifting airplane wing

Engineers from the Center for Bits and Atoms and NASA have built and tested a radically new kind of airplane wing, assembled from hundreds of tiny identical pieces. This new approach to wing construction could afford greater flexibility in the design and manufacturing of future aircraft. MIT News.

“The past is in the present”

Rosalyne Shieh’s Keller Gallery exhibition project pieces together an ongoing story of Taiwan, kinship, migration, identity as a political act, loss, and hope, evolving over time. Visit the exhibition for conversations with Shieh on Tuesdays at 12-1pm, spontaneously at unscheduled times, and by appointment. On view through April 19.
